[SOLVED] net-misc/openssh dependency conflict

  • Quote

Post by Maxxx » Sat May 28, 2022 9:28 am

Hi to all,
I have dependency unsatisfied when upgrade my gentoo.
The error is the following:

Code: Select all

WARNING: One or more updates/rebuilds have been skipped due to a dependency conflict:

dev-libs/openssl:0

  (dev-libs/openssl-1.1.1o:0/1.1::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) USE="asm -rfc3779 -sctp -sslv3 -static-libs -test -tls-compression -tls-heartbeat -vanilla -verify-sig -weak-ssl-ciphers" ABI_X86="(64) -32 (-x32)" CPU_FLAGS_X86="(sse2)" conflicts with
dev-libs/openssl:0/1.1=[-bindist] required by (dev-libs/botan-2.9.0:2/2.9::gentoo, installed) USE="bzip2 ssl zlib -bindist -boost -doc -libressl -lzma -python -sqlite -static-libs" ABI_X86="(64)" PYTHON_TARGETS="-python3_6"
                            ^^^^^^^^
    >=dev-libs/openssl-0.9.8g:0/1.1=[-bindist] required by (net-voip/telepathy-gabble-0.18.4-r1:0/0::gentoo, installed) USE="jingle -gnutls -libressl -plugins -test" ABI_X86="(64)"
                                     ^^^^^^^^

!!! The following update(s) have been skipped due to unsatisfied dependencies
!!! triggered by backtracking:

net-misc/openssh:0
I tried to solve in many ways without any results.
I think I need to upgrade openssl otherwise I get RSA error in net-libs/nodejs package when I upgrade it.

Thanks

Can you post also emerge --info and grep -ri bindist /etc/portage ouput?

It may be possible to solve this problem by using package.mask to
prevent one of those packages from being selected. However, it is also
possible that conflicting dependencies exist such that they are
impossible to satisfy simultaneously. If such a conflict exists in
the dependencies of two different packages, then those packages can
not be installed simultaneously. You may want to try a larger value of
the --backtrack option, such as --backtrack=30, in order to see if
that will solve this conflict automatically.

For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man
page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook.

I don't know why it's masked:

Code: Select all

emerge --ask dev-qt/qt-creator

Code: Select all

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!

!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "dev-qt/qt-creator" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- dev-qt/qt-creator-9999::gentoo (masked by: missing keyword)
- dev-qt/qt-creator-6.0.0::gentoo (masked by: ~amd64 keyword)

For more information, see the MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge
man page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook.

Do you need qtcreator? It seems not have reverse dependencies.
