RPI4, After update + depclean, busybox disappeared and no network started after that

emerge busybox, solved the problem...

The sys-apps/busybox package has been removed from the system
set (@system) in Linux profiles. It was decided that this package is not
necessary for a basic system install.

If you would like to keep this package installed, please ensure it is
present in your Portage world file.

  emerge --select --noreplace sys-apps/busybox

As well, the "static" USE flag has been disabled by default. It may be
re-enabled locally via package.use if so desired.

Most people do not use busybox to setup their network and, even if they did, base system profile is not intended to give you a working network (wide range of applications and their alternatives can be needed for this, you have to pick what's needed when configuring it).

If for you it's required, then add it to world file like anything else.

Since it can come as a surprise, that's why there's both the news item and the usual --depclean warning anyhow.
