Hi,sklettke wrote:Hmm. I'm using a newer version of xmms-arts (0.6.0), I'll try downgrading to 0.4-r6 and see if that works.r8dhex wrote: What!!??I didn't know since I'm listening to xmms right now, i had to double check that i was actually using the arts driver... In fact I am using the arts driver (0.4-r6), using arts 1.2.0. Not saying you're wrong, but if its a technical impossibility (according to the link), it makes me wonder as to how I can verify that I'm actually using the versions that I _think_ im using.
[EDIT] Nope 0.4-r6 doesn't work for me.

You are sure that you have enabled all local protocols (especially the file protocol) on the "previews and metadata" (that's a guess of the english name) panel in the preferences of konqueror? I worked for me the first time without enabling them, but the second time i had to...diegs wrote:checking enable previews doesn't work for me. must be something not compiled right.

Try unmerging automake and then emerge it again and then do aHi.. I've got a problem with compiling kdebase too.
I say: "emerge kdebase" and it stops with:
Code:
config.pl: fast created 435 file(s).
