eselect python is really not as important as people think Edit: Or at least not since python-exec came around, it's more like a placeholder for users to keep doing what they're used to. About all it's doing is edit a single normal text file and give you a pretty list, and odds are you don't need to manually set anything (more so now that python-exec-conf will be automatically used).
