Or can this be because of the encryption? I would have thinked that if that would be the problem, I would see more cpu load? *confused*
I will be happy to give more informations, if you point me to what could be needed to find out whats going on. The raid was built by the debian installer. I just created a new partition, formatted it with ext4 and mounted it.
