Impossible to use startx

Hello, when I start startx, I have this strange error ...

Easy way is to do "chmod 4711 /usr/bin/Xorg" as root and add suid flag to package.use for xorg-server

Note: The chmod does what the suid flag does when xorg-server is emerged.

OR if you really want to try your hand at non-suid X and you're not running the xorg modesetting driver then https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Non_root_Xorg

Would be enough to setgid tty on /usr/bin/Xorg and have the user in the input/video groups, would it not?

I had the same problem.
I installed lightdm instead and it worked.

If you use a DM (lightd, gdm etc), instead of startx then yes it should work.
