dropbox keeps restarting with systemd

i'm using (trying to use) dropbox with systemd. dropbox keeps restarting over and over.

i've tried removing the /home/username/.dropbox-dist folder, but it keeps coming back. i removed the /home/username/.dropbox folder and authenticated again.

Any ideas on how i can troubleshoot this would be most appreciated.

Systemd restarts Dropbox over and over again most probably because Dropbox crashes.

1. Look at the Systemd service control file for Dropbox. It probably contains a "restart" statement. Change the value to 'no'. After that, you can start and stop Dropbox manually using 'systemctl start/stop'. Look here for more information on the Restart statement.
2. Try to find out why Dropbox crashes and solve the problem.
3. Re-set the Restart statement to it's original value after you fixed the Dropbox issue.
