[SOLVED] gdbus-codegen = can't compile

Having some big problems building some gnome-packages just now. Hey maybe they are not even exclusively linked to gnome but they are appearing amongst updates.

It's the same error every time, the ebuild fails with....

"--interface-prefix not recognised" ?

I have tried different versions of gdbus-codegen, and have settled with the stable version.

You should pastebin the whole build log, perhaps configure log, too. Basically, you should read the portage output and do everything suggested.

The problem is, nothing is being suggested by portage, or anything I can see in build logs.
Just the same error each time.

I get a related build failure, so this definitely isn't isolated. Probably another QA fail on some gnome package maintainer's part.

It seems my Python exec was broken, which was affecting java-config.
I rebuilt python-exec and it looks like things are working again.

AntP, I'm going to look stupid for saying this, but, have you installed dev-util/gdbus-codegen-2.32.4-r1 ?
I have Python set to 3.2.
