Splashutils Wont Emerge??

I am trying to emerge splashutils and am getting:

i have static-libs and png in my flags? pls help i really want this 2 work?

You didn't post the actual error.

In this case, there is actually just enough because it happened to me last month ...

Turn off truetype for splashutils, i.e. -truetype for it in package.use

Edit: then wait for [bug=384131]bug[/bug] to be sorted
