Switching VT uses ALT+Fn instead of CTRL+ALT+Fn

Hi everybody,

Since I updated my system (emerge system) recently and rebooted, the VT switching is performed using ALT+Fn keys.
Example : ALT+F4 switches to VT 4. This is annoying as ALT+Left switches to previous VT (this used to be bound to previous URL in browsers).
This used to be CTRL+ALT+Fn. CTRL seems to have disappeared from config files (which ones ?).

Where can I find these settings ?

AFAIK it has been Alt-Fn since Linux Kernel v1.0. Ctrl-Alt is for jumping to a VT from XWindow

SOLVED. Don't know how. Just rebooted. You're right, ALT+Fn works from VT. CTRL+ALT+Fn from X works again (and no switch with ALT+Fn from X).
