polkit-kde-authentication-agent crash

There seem to be lots of people using other distros that have polkit-kde-authentication-agent crash.
Has any other Gentoo user seen this (beside me)?

I'm seeing it after a recent complete rebuild. I intend to follow the sticky at the top of this forum and see how it goes.

I'm having this problem too, which has made my machine half-paralyzed ... I had some problem in Gnome and i compiled KDE just to have a quick alternative and i saw it.

My topic is http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-876733.html and it seems that polkit is the issue but I'm not that sure yet.

Alas, I'm still on kde-4.4.5, and glib-networking isn't even installed.

I found this old bug from a year ago, which seems to fit.

I've taken polkit off my system for now, with a local policy override. I'll try again when kde-6 goes stable.
