A lot of failed modprobes

When i log in with my user account, i get about 2 screns och messages telling me that modprobe failed to locate various modules. This doesn't happen when i log in as root. That makes me suspect that i have the wrong permissions on something somewhere.
But i really have no idéa.

did you make any changes to your /etc/pam.d/* files?

I had a similar issue with 2.4.20r8.

I never found out what it was, and it doesnt seem to happen anymore since I started using 2.6.

From what I could tell though, it was attempting to load modules I didnt have installed and that I didnt need.

It had no effect on system though, everything worked just fine.

I'm still curious to know what was causing it however.

It has been this way ever since i installed it. So no changes to pam.d/
But could there be something in pam.d/?

Same here. i don't need the modules anyway, and everything works great.
Real ugly login though.
