Need your help: Inkscape + LaTeX formula

hey!

i need to add some latex formula to inkscape. i read that i need pstoedit and installed it. now my problem: it does not create any formula. i click on "Effects/Render/LaTeX formula" and type "$\frac{1}{2}$" for example, but then i get the following:

i played a little with the use-flags of pstoedit (change +- imagemagick), but that did not solve the issue. the script does create a dvi inside the tmp directory:

but has problems to convert it to svg (i guess). imagemagick is compiled with +svg.

ok i emerged inkscape 0.47, which is hard masked, and there it works! bad it does not work with the stable one! should i file a bug report (is it a bug)?

After running into an identical problem I could solve it by employing "plotutils" USE flag that is needed by pstoedit in order to correctly convert .ps files to the .svg format (in my USE flags the svg and imagemagick options are listed as well)
