Netscape Communicator start-up glibc error.

Hi.

I installed Netscape Communicator 4.79 (also tried netscape-navigator) upon trying to run it, I am greeted with:

zeitgeist@geist zeitgeist $ netscape
/opt/netscape/netscape: relocation error: /opt/netscape/netscape: symbol _res, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
zeitgeist@geist zeitgeist $

I only have it installed because Mozilla is unable to view a webpage I need for my edu account correctly, so I can't use an alternative.
