conky gone insane

conky gone mad.. :P dont know what else to say, just finished an -uavDN and now conky is all crazy.. fonts elsewhere are just fine, but conky is wack.. any ideas?? :oops:

A "emerge -uavDN world" ? I guess so...

Can you post your conky-config please?
Also, if conky worked just before the emerge you mentioned, then it must have to do with the 'emerge world'.
- Was a new conky version emerged?
- Which packages were emerged?
You can lookup these in /var/log/emerge.log.
Did you do a etc-update after the emerge?
(Did you run revdep-rebuild? ;) )

I might remember conky can be invoked with a debug option. If you re-emerge it with debug useflag on, this might give you some helpful info, when conky is executed from an interactive shell.

meh, downgraded to 1.8.0 from 1.8.1.. works fine now, guess i'll skip this upgrade :P
