Lost all kde menu entries

Hi All,

I noticed recently that I lost all my kde menu entries. I just have now the favorites, the run command and the leave special entries.
I did not do anything than trying to play with vmware (the one I downloaded from the website).

Anyway is there a way to restore them ?

Hi dextermagnific,
Rename your .kde4 file to .kde4_old and restart your X. Copy each old subdirectory of your .kde4_old to the new one and restart your X in the middle, one after another. This way you probably will find the one which is causing the mess. In last case, use your new .kde4 and rebuild your old menus. I'd rather choose this option!.
