blabla flash bad, will die, html 5 javascript yay although it consumes even more cpu blablaAdobe® Flash® Player "Square" is a preview release that enables native 64-bit support on Linux, Mac OS, and Windows operating systems, as well as enhanced support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 beta.
We have made this preview available so that users can test existing content and new platforms for compatibility and stability. Because this is a preview version of Flash Player, we don’t expect it to be as stable as a final release version of Flash Player. Use caution when installing Flash Player "Square" on production machines.
The key new capabilities in the Flash Player "Square" preview are:
* 64-bit support — Native support for 64-bit operating systems and 64-bit web browsers on Linux, Mac OS, and Windows.
* Internet Explorer 9 hardware accelerated rendering support — Enhanced support for Internet Explorer 9 Beta. It takes advantage of hardware accelerated graphics in Internet Explorer 9 Beta, utilizing hardware rendering surfaces to improve graphics performance and enable seamless composition.

regardless, it is impossible to overlook associating JavaScript with Java. and it brings doubt to any other stated opinion.warrens wrote:@ant_pOracle bought Sun Microsystems, Inc., therefore Oracle owns the trademark.SAP -- Copyrights and Copyright Agent wrote:JavaScript is a registered trademark of Sun Microsystems, Inc., used under license for technology invented and implemented by Netscape.
Oh and by the way.wikipedia wrote:"JavaScript" is a trademark of Oracle Corporation. It is used under license for technology invented and implemented by Netscape Communications and current entities such as the Mozilla Foundation.

You do realize that Oracle has the trademark on just the name, right? The language its self, and reference implementation, is maintained and developed by Mozilla. Not to mention that the language could just be renamed to ECMAScript, because that's what it actually is.warrens wrote:JavaScript being a trademark of Oracle in not opinion, it is a fact. So my original conclusion of JavaScript being bad is still valid, though the reason is different.
