Easytag alternative with inotify support?

Help with creation, editing, or playback of sounds, images, or video. Amarok, audacious, mplayer, grip, cdparanoia and anything else that makes a sound or plays a video.

Easytag alternative with inotify support?

Hello, I have a simple question.

I've used easytag for years. It's always been my referent when it comes to tagging media files, I never found anything similar so I think I'll ask in vain, but anyway... There's one thing that annoy me a bit, and it's its lack of inotify support. That in fact means that I have to close and re-open easytag each time that the directory structure changes for one or another reason (except when I rename the folders from easytag itself, then it's aware of the changes to the fs).

This also makes me lose some changes if I have edited something but the path changed. I usually don't do this, but you know... sometimes the human factor counts, for worse :P

I know I am asking a bit too much, but if someone knows an alternative that's close to easytag in terms of functionality and has inotify support, I'd like to hear about it. Oh, I am not religiously affiliated to either toolkit, feel free to suggest anything qt, gtk+ or WTFtk (any other toolkit) based, as long as it's as capable as (or close to) easytag, that's the difficult part.

Thanks in advance. :D

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll test it anyway, I didn't know about piccard.
