how do I setup my server so I can login to fluxbox remotely?
but even more important... if I have fluxbox running already with apps and all can I then login remotely and simple end up in the wm with all my aps? cuz this way I can have apps like Gaim running 24-7...

Go have a look at VNC. Tightvnc is a good choice, you can run the VNC server on an active desktop session, so you can do exaclty what you want.

I hate VNC... I want something that runs well.. like logging in remotely.. so xforwarding is the only choice. just dun know how to use it the way I want to.

Check out the 'rfb' package. It has the x0rfbserver, which will forward a specific X display to a VNC connection. It's proably the best you're going to get, outside of ratpoison.
