gnome 2.26 build error [solved]

gnome 2.26 build error [solved]

Hello,

When i updated my system by emerge --update --deep --newuse world I see this message :

emerge lafilefixer

lafilefixer --justfixit
UM780 xtx, 6.18 zen kernel, gcc 15, openrc, wayland
minixforum m1-s1 max -- same software as above but used for ai learning

And yay, this didn't fix the issue :?

Ended up downloading the libogg.tar.gz from xiph.org, building it and manually copying over the .la file into /usr/lib. Surprisingly, nothing broke :)

Did you run revdep-rebuild after running the lafilefixer command?

actually I should have said "revdep-rebuild -i" as that will throw away the last files it saved and re-look at the whole system
