I am sorry to hear that Ferris has passed away. I found him to be a very kind and thoughtful person. He did some good work in helping get the Gentoo Foundation back on track, which I sincerely appreciate. He was an asset to the project, and a genuinely nice guy.

That's sad news for the foundation, for gentoo and more importantly for all those who knew him. I always appreciated (silently) his calm advice in this spheres.

Sad news yes... I did not know him personnally but from his posts on the MLs, he really seemed like a calm and competent person. We will miss him, and our thoughts should go to his family. R.I.P.

i only talked once or twice to him and always got an insightfull and patient answer, so yeah, i sure will miss him.

Only talked to him a few times but as far as I remember it was a pleasant conversation..

My deepest condolences to his family, you will be missed greatly by everyone who worked with you I will personality miss your daily irc greetings like "<@fmccor> Good day", that always felt good to see everyday. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the foundation.
