I would like to watch a dvd that has presumable been encrypted with css. Now, I have the css useflag set in make.conf, I have emerged mplayer along with smplayer.
But upon trying to play the DVD, smplayer reports that mplayer crashed and gives the following log:

Any ideas?
Edit: Dragon Player does work just fine.. which I find very odd...and helps me nothing regarding step 2: Making a backup copy of the disc (I HATE scratches, my DVDplayer is a bit on the old side and doesn't like scratches either, and I am a messy person so I scratch discs easily
