hauppauge ir-remote+inputlircd broken with Kernel 2.6.28

Starting with gentoo-sources-2.6.28 my IR remote of an old analog tv-card doesn't work anymore. For now I'm staying with kernel 2.6.27.
dmesg says the same on both kernels about the ir device but with inputlircd and irexec it works with 2.6.27. but not with 2.6.28.
So all seems equal on both kernels, programms starting, same configs, same input device name ...

Any Solutions? Where is the problem? The Kernel developers just removed something? But /dev/input/event2 ir-device is generated. So why doesn't respond?

works fine here and im using 2.6.28.7 and a hauppauge HVR-1100 with inputlircd

I already read these 2 threads, they don't describe my problem at all.

I have "WinTV PCI FM".

I can switch between 2.6.27. and 2.6.28 with the "same" configs and all other unchanged. Only with the 2.6.28 it doesn't work (testing with "irw").
but both get the device and are loading inputlircd and irexec.

My ir-remote doesn't work anymore with 2.6.28 and 2.6.29 for me? Anyone can help?
