I have the game but I am wondering if it will work with wine? I have heard of some MOHAA-beta but I am wondering if I can just use wine and the cds?

Beta1 of MOHAA Linux client expired a couple of weeks ago. Just have to wait till Ryan gets second beta out. Of course you can adjust your system time to fool the client...

If you use wine, you don't need the linux beta binaries. But I don't understand why someone would like to run it using wine when there is also a native version available, although the binaries are expired at the moment.

Anyway, I don't know if MOHAA works on wine at all. When I tried a year ago, it didn't. Might have changed since then, though.

It most probably will since it's based on the quake3 engine and all games based on that worked for me using Wine.

Anyway, I agree on the point made by samppa. There's a native version available, well, will be real soon anyway, so why would you want to use Wine?

I'm just asking about using Wine because there isn't a native version right now. I just want to see if it will work. Just another step to try to wipe XP from my computing life.

It worked for me with regular wine, but it was unstable with multiplayer when playing certain levels

I just saw Medal of Honor: Allied Assault for OS X.

Is there such a big difference between OS X and Linux that they could not make a version for us?

I really want to play MOHAA now...
