Just noticed something odd about bash's history...

If there is a space before a command, eg " fs /foo", the command isn't recorded in the bash's history at all...

Is this a known issue/bug or anything, and can anbody check to see if it's the same with other shells (zsh and the like)?

I just checked it in bash... and it showed up in bash_history

Oh ffs, I have "ignorespace" in HISTCONTROL in my bashrc...
