Trying to make TV-Card Winfast TV2000 XP Global work!

Need some help to setup this card.

I shall give as more details as i can.

The best link for running TV-cards under Linux is here.
Unfortunately there isn't much info about your card.

I'd recommend you try the card=0 setting (since it claims that your card is unknown) and see if it works then.

Thanx for the link.

The driver documentation says that it supports the card. It is card number 61 from the list.

When I had the 2.6.26 Kernel the card was not on the list at all. :!:

I tried the card=0 option as well as the card=5 which is a similar TV-card but nothing worked. :(
I don't know what else I can do...

Any ideas??

Sometimes tv card brands are "relaunched" by the manifacturer with newer chip versions and won't work with the drivers any more. Maybe one of the newer kernel release candidates is including a enhanced/updated driver version, where your chip is supported. Try 2.6.28, it came out today in a new rc version.
