sandbox violations from gnome-applets-2.22.3 (~x86)

Hi,

trying to reinstall those applets, fails with a (kind of funny) sandbox violation:

its obvious that /root/.gconf/ is not writeable

I hope it gets fixed soon,

Make sure you file a bug against the ebuild, or it might take a while to be fixed. Of course, search to see if one is already open first.

Same thing here.... I searched the forums and found that this will work (but shouldn't be used on an ordinary basis..)

Yes, that is one possibility..concerning this gconf-2.24 related bug (totem fails too btw) take a look at the tracker

I hope they start at least working on it soon,
