Hello,
i started to add birthdays to my evolution contacts. What happens is:
after I added them to evolution ( in the contacts section) they are displayed and everything is fine, i can see them in the clock applet and in the calender itself.
but after i restart evolution-data-server birthdays dont show up in neither the calendar nor the clock applet. Although the birthdays are still saved in the contacts section.
Most Birthdays are > 1970 but not all.
any hints?

ok exporting, deleting and reimporting contacts made evolution display some contact's birtdays but still not all.
the deal is, those birthdays which are not displayed dont have anything special in common, they have like others which are displayed pictures attached, and some metadata.
still not fixed.
so far i made a second calendar where i put birthdays as yearly repeating events. but i hope its possible to make evolution display all my contact's birthdays.
