Thumbnails on Konqueror[Solved]

Today I realised that I do not have thumbnails on konqueror. I have also another computer with arch linux on in. The konqueror on this pc has an extra option under View->Image view. I dont have this option on konqueror so I dont have thumbnails on konqueror

Do you know why and if i am missing some extra package? Thanks a lot

I think there should be an option to set the maximal size of image which gets thumbnail displayed somewhere in the Konqueror options. It's set to a low value by default, so you only get thumbnails of images smaller than 50kb or so.
Sorry I can't provide more detailed information, I have recently unmerged KDE.

Thats what I did to but didnt work. I guess I used wrong flags when emerging konqueror. For example I have disabled arts on konqueror. I ll try to recompile it with arts enabled

I think you need kdelibs compiled with arts support and a couple of artsplugin-xyz (can't remember which ones).

You don't need arts. Stay away from it. You need kde-base/konq-plugins and a thumbnailer (like mplayerthumbs).

I have konq-plugins. I am installing now the mplayerthumbs. Do you know a thumbnailer for photos?

I emerged kdemultimedia-meta with arts use flag enabled and now i have thumbnails
