When did this happen and why? There's no bug about it either...

for one reason that I have experianced, it doesn't find the 32 bit java plugin (on amd64) , and also, the non -bin version of 3.0-rc1 is also hard masked (and has been) , oh, and firefox 3.0-rc1 looks worse than firefox 2.0 on KDE (if only firefox was QT....)

I don't agree. With (gtk-engines-)qtcurve it looks decent.

If you'd be so adventurous as to use qt-4.5 trunk, you can use nsplugins. See http://arorabrowser.blogspot.com/2008/0 ... opers.html.

I have problems with Flash, many pages don't work. Is it a known bug?

In my case, it doesn't even start (the betas did)... it just quickly exits with no output (though it does return 1 instead of 0).
