Noob question about fluxbox install!!

I installed gentoo, first command I do is emerge fluxbox(besides get my internet working,etc) after it finishes I do what?

This must sound real dumb 8O

change the bottom option in /etc/rc.conf to 'fluxbox' and run startx or /etc/init.d/xdm start

You can also create an .xinitrc file in your home directory as explained in fluxbox docs
warning: `class GroveImpl' only defines a private destructor and has no friends.

Generally, if you have no reason to modify system-wide files, don't. Isolating things to your home directory is always a good idea. I can move my home directory to any other machine, and after perhaps installing a couple things, I'm right back at home.
