[solved?] slow konqueror

Hi,

there is quite sometimes, I observe temporary freezes of konqueror that slows pretty much navigation. I think it is linked with dns query (this seems a very common problem of kde application). Here I have dynamic Ip configuration but IP is (almost) always the same 192.168.2.76. From http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/kde-config.xml it was not very clear what should be in /etc/hosts.

So far I tried :
1)
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.2.76 manu
2)
127.0.0.1 localhost manu

and some other unsuccesfully. Do I have to restart KDE or computer in order to test that??
I did test without restarting either KDE or the computer.

Will kde 4 resolve this kind of problem ?

I switch now to :

192.168.2.76 manu

and it works much better! DOn't know for how many time?

Well, I understand, noone uses anymore konqueror and jut switched to firefox. That's a pitty konqueror is much more powerfull except this though very annoying problem!
