emerge -e system failed, over clean bootstraped portage

hello, I have had the following problem using the next page http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/gentoo-al ... -macos.xml for reference

i am using a powerbook g4, and macos 10.4.11

if somebody could help i will thank's

hi,

double check your /etc/make.conf settings.

For me it appears that you have CLAGS/CHOST flags messed up.

Indeed, a G4 cannot cope with G5 code :)
