I just installed it...
My 2.6test4 kernel still seems faster and more stable

i supose the bugfixes must be great to only have it out 2 months later. i think thats a short amount of time anyway.
i'm waiting till it's in portage anyway, hopefully there is some simple way to upgrade to 2.4.22, like portage installing the 2.4.22 patch or something, otherwize i have to re-do all my patches, oh well, more fun

well first i have loads of updates to do and when i'm running "emerge -U world" it's getting 404 errors on every mirror

i'd better figure this out first, could just be this one ebuild though, "ORBit2"

sorry but whats a prepatch (bit of a n00b when it comes to kernel development, but i like learning about it, i started progamming in C today, etc etc, any what was it...)

oh yeh, whats a prepatch, and u think that 2.5 will become stable, kool

usually after a stable release there ll come prepatch releases
as of now that would be 2.4.23-pre1 , but i dont see this on kernel.org. well ok maybe it takes some time :p
