Does Apache work behind a port-forwarded NAT?

I have a NAT'ed router in my home network, and I am thinking about having a small webpage, just for sharing info and some files with my friends. Maybe a blog, some files, some personal info...
But the fact my computers are behind a NAT make me being in doubt, as i don't want to configure my router as a half bridge for security reasons.
I was thinking about puting My apache behind the NAT box and forward the port 80 to my intranet host.
Can anyone tell me if this will work?

It's the usual way these things are set-up.

Just remember to that any service that is open to the internet directly (like your http or https will be) is vulnerable to attack from script kiddies and the like. Make sure you lock your Apache config down, and keep it up to date with security fixes.
