live cd install images

Dear gentleman/madam,

i have just installed gentoo and it works great! Thank you all for such great work. When i boot from the installation dvd i get in the console text an gentoo 2007.0 image. The X display manager invoked the live dvd shows a very nice configuration too.

The installed gentoo has nothing like that! How could i enable the text console image? How to get X Display Manager that style?

thanks in advance

I'm not sure whether I got you right, but I think what you mean is gensplash, see http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_gensplash.
Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level, then beats you with experience.

How-To: Daten verschlüsselt auf DVD speichern.

You will also have to install X11 to get the graphical interface. Check out this guide

Then, to get a similar GUI as on the liveCD, you will need to install GNOME and gdm. I couldn't help you with this, but it should be fairly straightforward, along the lines of emerge gnome gdm.

the install when finished gives you a very minimal Linux system
“Music is a moral law. It gives a soul to the Universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness, gaiety and life to everything. It is the essence of order, and leads to all that is good and just and beautiful.”
