Driver download

I have a intel 945GM graphics card, where and how should I download the driver for it?

You should check the Intel website. I'm sure you'll find something there.

I believe it's allready in the kernel, the i810 driver. It's for 945 chipsets and older ones.

but when I put i810 as driver in the xorg.conf file, and tried starx, it keeps telling me that it can't find the module and there's no driver. what should I do? Thanks

Have you configured the kernel with the i810 module?

Going from memory here, but wasn't i810 renamed to intel in Xorg's newer releases?

(Maybe I'm thinking of something else...)

I haven't used intel chipset in a few years so not sure. Though it should be quite self-explanatory what module to choose in the display device section.
