#equery list iproute2

Code: Select all

#emerge --info

Have you tried re-emerging iproute2? Probably won't work, but sometimes a rebuild will fix things. Can you give some context on that error message? I.e., where in the compile process is this happening? I'm guessing while it's running configure.

Yes I have tried a re-emerge (iproute2) but still no luck. This error occurs in the configure step.

Cheers,

For what it is worth, I appear to be running into the same thing at the moment.

as i just ran into the same error here is my solution:

i like my minimal laptop environment and run xfce with USEflag "minimal" turned on. You have got that, too !

the solution for me was to do an

Code: Select all

USE="-minimal" emerge -av iproute2
for future use you may want to put these settings into your portage.use file.

best wishes,

sege
