Burning .img

Post by Mauro » Thu Aug 09, 2007 5:10 pm

Hello!

I currently have a DVD image in .img format. Im not sure what was used to make it so I tried converting it with CCD2ISO but its giving me an error saying it cannot be opened.

My question is, does anybody know what i can use to burn such image or to convert it to ISO format?

Thanks!

I'm a noob so I don't know if this will work but I believe the .img image is dependant on the .toc (table of contents?) file. Try opening the .toc file with the app and see if that works.

I've found that most of the .img files I've dealt with can be simply renamed to .iso without a problem

You can also try kiso. It has worked for me, whereas ccd2iso fails on many images.

I renamed it to ISO and it worked great, i would have never thought the solution was so simple!

About Nerolinux, no way, it was good software on Windoors but theres far better FREE stuff in linux.
