Which IMAP/Groupware server to choose?

  • Quote

Post by bjorntj » Tue Jul 31, 2007 10:48 am

I am running cyrus-imap on an old suse server but I now have a new server where I am going to install Gentoo but I can't decide which email/groupware system to use?
I am, as I said, running cyrus-imap at the moment and I am pleased with it but it is just an imap server. If I want more, like address book, contacts, etc I need to install these too, so I am hoping to find everything I need in one package.... So far I have tried a couple and looked at some more but I can't seem to find something that does what I need and also looks good...

Any suggestions?

Regards,

Thx.... I will look into Horde...
I also came across eGroupware... Does anyone know how this is compared to Horde?

Also I know that php applications are often known to have security issues, how is with Horde/eGroupware?
