I belive it's on one of the first 3 pages.

Learn how to cut and paste in Gimp then before you try.

Just select the 6th layer and rigthclick and choose paste into...

Well I was looking for an icon for kile but I made one instead. Here it is.

If someone wants to do a better job than that be my guest. I based this off the default icon that came with the install.

One icon that I think would be good would be an icon for Latex. Maybe another project for another day.

Well I was looking around the /usr/share/icons/ folders and found an icon for krusader. Here is the icon I made from that.

You are welcome to add this one to the icon set or improve it.

Someone requested LyX icons, so here you are. I'm not much of an artist, but I hope these might suffice. The significant part of each is taken from the logo at http://www.lyx.org - I have no idea what that creature is supposed to be. I think the first one is better, personally. If there is any problem with these images, please, let me know and I will fix them as best I can.

edit: I hope these are useful to someone.. I've had a hell of a time getting them hosted somewhere that won't cost me

Here's another one I just quickly knocked up, for Freeciv. It took me a while to find a suitable icon (a planet seemed too likely to get confused with other programs), but I did the best I could at enlarging and touching up what is (to me, at least) the most recognizable thing about the great game of Freeciv! I hope it's not too shabby-looking

I might be missing something here, but after trying for 2 hours to install these icons and not succeeding i decided to post this. I tried using the Gnome Theme manager but that didn't work?

No, you can't. With the right skins a lot of programs look like them (Mozilla for IE, Evolution for Outlook, etc). I think they made those icons to help move those less computer-ised in their family over to the Linux camp

BTW, can someone make an icon for AIM? I see one for Gaim on there, but I prefer AOL's version. Maybe the little running guy in a bubble? Oh, and an icon for the USB memory sticks? That'd be sweet, thanks!

Here are a couple I made tonight, to pass thetime. The Railroad Tycoon 2 was tough, to try and mimic the original logo AND make it readable, but it's good enough for me. Just in case anyone cares. Doo-dee-doo.
