Just wanted to say thanks to all the Men and Women who have put in time with the package system in the past few months!

I hadn't updated my box in about 3 months, then this weekend I ran a full "emerge -Du world".... it merged around 300 new packages... all of them flawlessly! I only had to remove one blocker (no big deal).

This is all not too mention that I merge _many_ experimental packages (Beryl and such for instance).

Needless to say, I'm a very happy camper. I've been with Gentoo for many years... so I've learned to take small problems in stride... but it's really nice when there aren't any!

I wish I could support you more but I'm just to stupid and I also got other things to do.

I'll stay on gentoo, even if it takes some time to recompile a few things when everything seems to be broken.

It's just the fastest - especially on my ancient p3, 1Ghz with 356ram.
