KWeather: requested station doesn't exist

  • Quote

Post by LaserJock » Thu Feb 05, 2004 1:33 am

Hi!
I just emerged KDE3.2 and I'm lovin' it. However, I was trying to set up KWeather but it just keeps giving me:
KWeather Error! The requested station does not exist.
This is strange because I have a correct ICAO code and when I right click on the applet and select Show Report it gives me all the correct info. Any thoughts on what might be going on? :(

shm:
That didn't work for me. I deleted my ~/.kde3.2/share/config/weather_panelappletrc and restarted KDE but it still works the same. Anything else?

I just merged kdetoys 10 minutes ago, and kweather isn't working here either. It reports the same "stations does not exist" error.

go find your station code on net and put it in ~/.kde3.x/share/config/weather_panelappletrc at line report_location=

put lower case because i thing it's case sensitive for me they work fine

do not know what i am doing wring, but i still get the same error, station code is: evra

edit:

  it is working, but

just made it more clear, so

in station file there is section about Latvia with station in Riga, this is where i live, but to get that station shown, i have to edit one file with stations, to get Latvia in the list, and all i have to do is [EU_LA] change into [EU_LV] that is correct value.

but if we look here:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89507

this bug is already solved
umm... amd64 then...
