Post by bingobob » Sun Mar 25, 2007 12:06 pm

has the bittorrent behaviour changed in the latest version, it now seems to drop downloaded files in a folder off [/home/user/BT downloads] rather than the previous place which was where the torrent file was I think. I prefere the old way...any tips?

Go to your home folder (~).
.bittorrent is a hidden file, you can display these files using the following command:

Code: Select all

ls -a
.

Agreed, this has been bugging me too, and I can't find out where we can change it back.
There are two things I have learnt in life:

I haven't been able to find any sort of config file, but you can change it back to normal with command line options:

Code: Select all

bittorrent-curses --save_in . --save_incomplete_in .
I put that in an alias and it's working OK for now.
