parallels, macbook pro + Xorg

Hello,

I am trying to get gentoo installed within Parallels on my Macbook Pro. When I run 'Xorg - configure' I get a blank screen and then back to the command prompt.

Has anyone been successful with doing this?
I used the following parms in my make.conf:

VIDEO_CARDS="fglrx"

I have to start off by saying that I have never used Parallels but I do use VMware quite a bit.

My bet is that, while you computer has an ATI card in it, the Parallels is emulating some other type of video card. According to the documentation for Parallels you should select a "Generic VESA compatible video card".

anyone have a updated xorg.conf? i cant get it to work with Build 3150rc2
