EVGA E-GEFORCE 7900 GS KO drivers?[SOLVED]

  • Quote

I am looking at purchasing:

EVGA Nforce 680I SLI Motherboard & Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Processor Bundle
OCZ Gold XTC PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL5-5-5-12 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit
EVGA E-GEFORCE 7900 GS KO 500MHZ 256MB 256BIT 1.38GHZ GDDR3 Dual DVI-I HDTV Out Video

I am not certain if there are Linux drivers for E-GEFORCE 7900 GS KO. I did search using Google, but did not come up with a drivers site. I only found out the obvious, that drivers are included when you purchase the card. What Linux drivers should I use? Also, is it worth paying an extra $300.00 to get the EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800 GTS 500MHZ 640MB 1.6GHZ GDDR3 Dual DVI-I HDTV Out HDCP DIRECTX10 Video Card?

Wouldn't you just use the regular nvidia-drivers package, or are you saying that you didn't see support within those?

I just read on www.nvnews.net/ that it is compatible. For me I don't think that it will be worth paying an extra $300.00 dollars for the higher end card. This card is already substantially better than my previous card, which was a radeon m9 (on my laptop of course).
