Azureus problem updating to 2.5.0.2

My azureus (v2.5.0.0-r3) builds successfully on my machine but then when I load up Azureus, it tries to update to version 2.5.0.2 and so it downloads the torrent and asks for a restart, and when it comes back up, it goes through the updating process again. The software seems to install the update, but it seems that is doesnt actually install, since azureus keeps trying to update.

does anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like a permission's issue, does it give you any errors during the install update process. Maybe you could run unstable azureus instead =D

You would probably be better off disabling the automatic updates in azureus and wait for 2.5.0.2 to hit portage.

I'm having the same problem here...
I've emerged 2.5.0.0, and now it's trying to update to 2.5.0.4 and keeps doing this process all the time.
I'm updating it with root, so I can't understand why is this happening...

Check the message printed by the azureus ebuild at the end of compile/merge ...
It saids that you should disable auto-update feature in azureus options.
