Google notebook extension with firefox 2.0 [resolved]

Hi,

I noticed firefox 2.0 is now called Bon Echo in gentoo - I'm guessing this is about the firefox trademark issues.

Anyway that's fine - but the Google Notebook browser extension won't install - it says only available for firefox or internet explorer.

Anyone know a way around this?

//edit: "bon echo" was the codename of an early alpha.

Well when you build it it calls itself "Bon Echo" in the title bar and user agent and the firefox icons have gone...

Also it has Bon Echo int he user agent string, which was actually the problem here... Using user-agent-switcher extension to change it to look like firefox fixed the problem.

uh, you are right, clicking "about" tells "bon echo" here as well.

How about compiling mozilla-firefox with USE="mozbranding" enabled?
