updated to KDE 3.5.5 - had to edit kdmrc to get root to be able to login to the gui, no biggie, but when I am in my user account I will once in a while go to File Manager - Super User Mode - normally I just enter in my password when it asks and we are off and running, but now when I enter my password it says it is incorrect.
I can go to konsole and su to root with the password without a problem, I can login to KDE with password without a problem with root account. I also noticed in KControl Center if I try the administrator mode in the font settings it asks for password, which is normal, but than spits out incorrect password at me. How do I get KDE so the password works for this stuff? I enjoy using File Manager - Super User Mode for doing certain tasks. It use to work just fine.
EDIT - I just remerged KDEsu and it works now
