Speedtouch 510 throws login dialog at me from WAN side

I am trying to run a server behind a (Thomson) Speedtouch 510 modem/router (PPPoA, Port forwarding) which works fairly well, but when browsing the websites from the WAN side, every so often I get the modem's login dialog instead of the requested page, and I have to wait a few minutes before it works properly again. Does anyone else have the same experience with this DSL modem?
I haven't been able to find anything on this problem yet.
